Why Do Christians Err on the Side of Pleasing the World?

When Christians are in doubt about important issues dealing with their faith, why do they often err on the side of pleasing the world? I am going to demonstrate my question by addressing three topics that raise eyebrows among Christians every time: 1. keeping the Sabbath Holy; 2. Whether or not the RFID chip is actually the mark of the beast; and 3. the timing of the rapture. These are three hot or sensitive topics among Christians.

Before I get started, I first have to talk about the verse 1 Corinthians 2:12-13: Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

This verse is critical to this teaching because we see here in 1 Corinthians 2:12-13 it says that we do not learn about the things of GOD in the words of men, but rather how the HOLY SPIRIT teaches by comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 1. Let’s start with keeping the Sabbath Day holy. Many Christians work, shop, and eat out on Sundays. I was recently told by a friend who hears from the LORD that HE was displeased with Christians doing these things on HIS HOLY Day. I believed that was possible but I spoke to the LORD myself and told HIM that I was okay with that insight, but how was I going to explain this to those around me?

To explain this to me the LORD gave me a brief vision (1ST SPIRITUAL THING) and I was shown the back of JESUS in an earthly robe and HE was in a temple on earth and I saw HIM busily throwing out the buyers and sellers from the temple. It was like seeing a scene from a movie seeing him actively throwing people out of the temple. Right after that I received a word of knowledge (2nd SPIRITUAL THING) and the understanding I received was that just as the temple is a HOLY PHYSICAL SPACE not to be defiled (as JESUS demonstrated to me in the vision of the temple and we’re talking New Testament truth) by buyers and sellers—so is the Sabbath a HOLY SPACE OF TIME not to be defiled by buying and selling. The next day, I randomly came across the verse Leviticus 19:30: Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I am the LORD. I do not think it was any accident I came upon this verse the next day and I was amazed because there were the two together as the LORD had shown me the day before about the Sabbath (a space of time) together with the Sanctuary (a physical space).

But I know Christians still want to insist on their rights to work and shop on God’s HOLY Day—and they will look for all sorts of explanations, verses, and loopholes to feel good about their choice to do this. But if we are in doubt about whether to reverence the Sabbath or not, (GOD’s Commandment says in Deuteronomy 5:12: “Observe the Sabbath day by keeping it holy, as the LORD your God has commanded you.) why do we seek to err on the side of pleasing the world and not toward the side of the reverential or the HOLY? Why do we seek to do this?

2. Here is the next subject question: Is the Radio Frequency ID chip the mark of the beast? Well the LORD showed me through a friend’s dream (1st SPIRITUAL THING) and an amazing supernatural experience my son had (2nd SPIRITUAL THING) that the RFID chip is in fact the mark of the beast. I am convinced that the RFID chip is the mark of the beast because of the Holy Spirit’s demonstration to me of comparing a spiritual thing to a spiritual thing. But still so many ministers and other Christians are still speculative about it and their teaching is dangerous because they are erring on the side of pleasing the world. They are putting out statements that the RFID chip is merely a precursor to the mark of the beast. This is an incredibly foolish stance when these people actually do not know proof positive that the RFID chip is or is not the mark of the beast. Why err on the side of the idea that it is okay? What if they are in fact wrong about this idea? They are promoting people to eternal damnation. Guesswork when it comes to people’s eternal security is a dangerous game to play. We do not need to err on the side of folding into the world’s plans when our eternal souls are hanging in the balance.

3. The last topic about the timing of the rapture again is another very hot topic. Are you still talking about being here 10, 20, 30 years from now? Well my hope is that this will make you think twice about this reality and that if you think such things you are putting yourself (and those around you) in danger of not being prepared for the LORD’s return by believing that you will be here 20 or 30 years from now. Let me show you how I can debunk this thinking…

Here is my personal testimony (1st SPIRITUAL THING): In March of 2009, within a few days the LORD gave me an end-time vision; an important warning to tell people NOW that HE is coming very soon and to drive the point home I received a miraculous prayer language (2nd SPIRITUAL THING). I have received numerous confirmations of this before and since this happened. In fact, I was shown by the LORD that HE was coming soon about six years ago and nothing much was happening then—now I can see all kinds of things happening—just as the LORD said it would six years ago. Here is the warning I received from the LORD (3rd SPIRITUAL THING): “Tell them I am coming soon and don’t hold yourself when the words are coming. These are My words and I work everything out. These are My words for you My daughter: Everything is ready, everything is done, whole heaven longs for the coming of the bride. The chairs are already standing ready and are numbered, everything is done. Tell them to take this serious because I won’t wait forever on the hearts of My people. I come for those whose hearts are ready and they are the ones who shall enter and celebrate supper with Me. I long for celebrating supper with My bride. I long for bringing My bride inside My Kingdom. The light is on green My daughter, so warn My people, because in a moment I come and many will be surprised when I come to take My people home. Speak My daughter! Don’t hold yourself, because I give you this boldness. Know that you are not alone, I use many other daughters for this work.”

All the signs of the LORD’s return have come to pass and to see that go to this website for the details: www3.telus.net/thegoodnews/finalgeneration.htm Now logic dictates that when all the signs come to pass the event itself cannot be way into the future with a wide margin between the signs and the event—and if that were the case they would not technically be signs.

(Nay sayers and scoffers to these truths are actually fulfilling one of the main prophecies right now.) Those who will find themselves ready for the LORD’s return will fit within these Biblical descriptions: Matthew 24:42: Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

2 Timothy 4:8: Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing

If you are not watching and longing for HIS appearing—you will not be found worthy to be raptured when the LORD returns. You will be among the multitude and countless numbers of people John saw in Revelations who had to be martyred for their faith.

This was the word I received from the LORD most recently about this reality (1st SPIRITUAL THING):

Now you can imagine that I am getting my share of “scoffing and nay saying.” Well one day, I was in my car and pleading my case to the LORD about all the people who think the LORD isn’t coming soon or not at all and I asked HIM pointblank am I missing something? Immediately, the LORD gave me this answer: Very few people have been around for the big moves of God: very few were saved from Sodom & Gomorrah; very few were saved during Noah’s time; very few believed Jesus was God when HE walked the earth; and very few will be raptured.

The very next day, the LORD led me to the (2nd SPIRITUAL THING) Biblical proof of HIS word to me the day before when I came to this verse: God provided me with a confirmation of His words when soon after I ran across this verse: Luke 17:26-30 says: “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. 28“It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. 30“It will be just like this on the day the Son of Man is revealed.”

But once again, the majority of people err on the side of pleasing the world. People don’t want to be looking for JESUS’ soon return because they are too caught up in the things of this world. It is more desirable to resist the idea that JESUS is probably not coming soon because people love this world too much.

So why do we seek to err on the side of pleasing the world and not pleasing GOD? Why do we search for loopholes in the scripture to pull away from GOD’s holiness to accommodate the world? What makes people race to debunk the Scriptures so that we can work on Sundays and run after the things of the world?

Christians think that what JESUS accomplished on the cross gives them a free pass to disregard the commandments of GOD or to throw out the Old Testament. A New Testament verse proves this point in Revelations 12:17: And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. In this verse you can see very clearly that the commandments of GOD were not eliminated with the testimony of JESUS.

James 4:4 says: Ye adulterers and adulteresses know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God. How seriously do we live by or even believe this verse? I guess that depends on how you define the term “friend.”

Why do we look so hard for loopholes in the Bible so we can excuse ourselves to engage with the world? JESUS says very clearly in 2 Corinthians 2:17 to come out from them and be separate from the world. Let’s look at 2 Corinthians 2: 14-18: Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.” 17 Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.” 18 And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

I think we need to stop erring on the side of pleasing the world and start erring on the side of pleasing GOD. Let’s not keep looking for loopholes and rushing to accommodate the world and its thinking but rather look to revere and please GOD. If we work on Sunday and if we act like we don’t care if JESUS is returning any day soon—how do we look different from the world? If we look and act exactly like the world how can they tell we are Christians?
