How was the Earth and Man Created and WHEN Will it All End?

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1) .

Are you searching for answers – answers about how humanity and the entire universe came to be? Are you one of those people who believes in the “Big Bang” theory? Do you think that if a scientist who has been recognized many times over for his great discoveries and accuracy in his findings, might actually be wrong at some point in time?

Let me tell you a little something about God. God loves each and every one of us and it would bring Him great joy if every man, woman and child on this earth were to reconcile themselves to Him. Because God created you, He knew you BEFORE you were even formed in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5). Here is a simpler way of explaining what that means, and how I might help you to understand better with this example: Let’s just say that you were to think up an idea for some type of invention, and you know in your mind how you want that invention to work and how you want it to look, and what it is that you need to do to make it happen. In a sense, you KNEW the invention before it ever even existed in the natural realm. In this same way God knew you. He planned you, He knew what you would be like and yes, He even knew the things you would do. Because we live in a fallen world, He even knew all of the wrong things you would do, but still loves you anyway. You see, God gave each and every one of us free will for a reason. Now you may be thinking, “Why would God do this?” I say it is because He wants us to make our own decisions and in the end, when all is said and done, He wants us to choose HIM, just as He chose us in the beginning. With that being said, after creating the heavens and the earth, God made man from the earth and breathed life into his nostrils (Genesis 2:4-7). He then made woman so that man would not be alone (Genesis 2:18-25). Even back then in the Garden of Eden, God gave Adam and Eve free will. Before creating Eve, God did not ask much from Adam, but told Adam that he could eat from every tree in the Garden, all but one, which was in the middle of the Garden. It was the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:15-17). Satan (the serpent) was also in the Garden, and because he is evil and rebellious by nature, he convinced Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, and she in turn convinced Adam to eat it as well. Because God gave them free will, Adam and Eve chose to disobey God when satan tempted them, and they ate from that tree anyway, knowing that they were doing wrong. Eating just the amount that they did, Adam and Eve became aware that they were naked and were ashamed (Genesis 3:1-7). It was at that point when sin and the fall of mankind first entered into our world. God is the Creator of ALL things and He wants His creation to use their own free will to CHOOSE and LOVE HIM. Who would want someone to love them if that love was not given freely and willingly?

Now let’s fast forward to the 21st Century. Here we have scientists who have all this knowledge of how the universe works (or believe they have all this knowledge of how the universe works), and they know all of this because for centuries, scientists have been making discoveries – and those scientists who came after them, did not have to start from scratch, or reinvent the wheel per say. It has taken thousands of years for man to become so full of knowledge and just plain SMART – Some were obviously born with more intelligence than others. As people began to discover more about the world around them and understand more about science, they would feed off of the discoveries of those scientists who came before them and add their own spin on things, therefore making new discoveries of their own. But you see, if you look back through time, in spite of all the knowledge and all of the discoveries, man cannot come up with any scientific facts that proves God does not exist. “Why is this?” you may ask? It is because GOD DOES EXIST AND CANNOT BE DISPROVED, no matter how intelligent one might be. I have added a video below, that when you watch and listen to it, it sounds all scientific, and maybe they have some good points – but they really cannot come up with some real concrete evidence as to how the world came into existence and how it might end. They only have theories and theories cannot match up to the Living God who is in control of ALL things, including the universe and all that is in it.

After watching that video, can  you actually say that you were given an explanation of how man came into existence and how it is that man’s intelligence came to be? Did you know that we were created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27), who is all knowing, who has an infinite mind compared to our small finite minds? Science cannot explain that, because it cannot be explained in scientific terms. We humans are here on this earth for God’s glory; and because He loves us, His very own creation, He does not want us to perish but have eternal life and dwell with Him forever. In order for that to happen, because God is Holy, sin cannot dwell in His presence. To atone for our sins so that we could be reconciled to God, God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to shed His blood on the cross, who bore our sins so that we might have eternal life (John 3:16-17).

There will come a day in the not so distant future when Jesus Christ, who died on the cross and rose from the grave 3 days later; who sits at the right hand of God the father in Heaven, will return to rapture His Church, and His Church will dwell with Him forever and ever. Do you understand what The Rapture is? Christ coming back to take up His Church is mentioned in the Bible a few times. However, the word “Rapture” is not used in the Bible.

Here is the dictionary’s definition of the word RAPTURE:

• The carrying of a person to another place or sphere of existence.

• The Rapture, Theology. the experience, anticipated by some fundamentalist Christians, of meeting Christ midway in the air upon his return to earth.

• Archaic. The act of carrying off.

The Bible warns us that Jesus will return like a Thief in the Night:
(1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 (New International Version):
1 Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

Here are 3 places in Scripture that describe The Rapture:

Matthew 24:26-27 (New International Version)
26 “So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the desert,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”

Matthew 24:39-42 (New International Version)
39 and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left. 42 “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.

1 Corinthians 15:51-57 (New International Version)
51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed- 52 in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 53 For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.” 55 “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?” 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

It is written that no one knows the day or the time that our Lord Jesus will come back to take up His Church. Wouldn’t you want you and your loved ones to be ready? Whether it is in this lifetime or not? If you are a believer in Christ and you do not share the Good News with your loved ones, they may never fully understand what is at stake by not accepting Jesus into their lives. Why take that risk? Do you understand the risk of not accepting the Gift of Salvation? I will tell you: “YOU RUN AN ETERNAL RISK OF BEING SEPARATED FROM GOD FOREVER.” We are now living in the End Times, the Last Days (Matthew 24) and you do not have much more time to deliberate on WHEN the world will end. Now is the time to ask Jesus Christ into your heart, repent of your sins and CHOOSE to accept the MAKER OF THE UNIVERSE.
